Biography
Justin finds creative solutions to secure his clients’ intellectual property rights, working with mechanical or mechatronic technology, as well as a broad range of other technology areas. He has been working in intellectual property since 2007, focusing on patent prosecution and technology transfers. He provides clients with cutting edge analyses of their intellectual property, and an enlightened view of the competitive landscape of their own marketplace.
Justin is experienced in leading client ideation sessions in which he identifies white space and generates valuable intellectual property. He creates foundational IP strategies for startup companies, as well as provides in-depth IP diligence for large acquisitions. He assists with non-infringement and invalidity opinions on a range of technologies.
Prior to joining the firm, Justin managed a national group of 45 scientists, engineers, agents and law clerks at an AmLaw 100 firm. He created and implemented an industry leading patent agent and law clerk career plan and law school tuition reimbursement program.
