MCC Reaffirms Mansfield Committment
August 14, 2024
Meunier Carlin & Curfman LLC (“MCC”) announces that the firm is reaffirming its commitment to Mansfield Certification for 2024-2025.
Since joining Mansfield in 2020, MCC has been working hard to increase the transparency and accessibility of our advancement processes, and to open the door wider to ensure that all talent at the firm has transparent, fair, and equal opportunity to be considered for leadership roles and activities, which benefits our talent and clients.
Data shows that firms that remain committed and accountable to the Mansfield process year-over-year are making substantial progress in creating inclusive talent practices and diversifying their leadership ranks. MCC has experienced positive progress in its firm since joining Mansfield, and the firm remains committed to taking measurable actions to ensure that its processes are – and remain – inclusive.
MCC is excited to continue to be part of the Mansfield community, which is now 365+ firms strong – the largest cohort to date.
To achieve Mansfield Certification, participating firms implemented a behavioral science and data-driven approach – designed by Diversity Lab in collaboration with talent experts, data scientists, and lawyers – to help increase diversity in leadership. Focused on opening the door wider for and ensuring that opportunities are inclusive, certified firms considered broad slates of qualified talent for leadership roles that included at least 30% historically underrepresented lawyers – such as women lawyers, underrepresented racial and ethnic lawyers, LGBTQ+ lawyers, and lawyers with disabilities. In addition, as part of the Certification process, firms worked hard to enhance transparency of their leadership roles, advancement processes, and compensation policies.
