For over a decade, Ms. Pavento has been providing intellectual property counseling to her clients. She counsels her clients regarding cost-effective trademark strategies and the importance of mark clearance and selection prior to the use of a mark and/or the filing of a trademark application. She assists clients with prosecuting trademark applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and domestic and international portfolio and conflict management. Ms. Pavento handles cancellation and opposition proceedings in both domestic and international tribunals and regularly counsels clients in association with trademark litigation matters. Ms. Pavento routinely drafts and negotiates intellectual property licensing agreements that encompass one or more trademark, copyright and patent properties.
