Biography
Mitchell’s practice focuses on patents within the mechanical arts. He drafts and prosecutes patents, and he recommends response strategies for office actions. He also provides infringement analyses for his clients.
While in law school, Mitchell served as the Articles Editor on the Managing Board for the Georgia Law Review, and he was a member of the Intellectual Property Law Society. He also participated in the Public Interest Practicum, where he provided legal advice to underserved populations in Athens, Georgia.
Mitchell worked for the University of Georgia’s Innovation Gateway, where he negotiated and wrote license agreements for the school’s plant and agricultural technologies.
