MCC Elects New Principals

Meunier Carlin & Curfman LLC (“MCC”) announces the promotion of Chris Glass and Trey Levie to principals effective October 1, 2018.

“Both Chris and Trey exhibit revered IP acumen and excellent client service that is crucial to our successful practice,” said managing partner, Chris Curfman.  “They also demonstrate that partnership is an attainable goal for attorneys who join MCC.”

Chris Glass, a former Patent Examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, represents clients in both U.S. and international patent matters. His background in physics enables him to provide guidance for his clients’ intellectual property in areas of computer hardware and software, medical devices, optical physics and semiconductors.  Chris graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in physics, and he received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University.

Trey has been with MCC since 2012, where he has focused his practice on litigation, patent, and trademark matters.  Trey has both participated in and led large-scale IP litigation matters involving patent infringement, trademark infringement, and copyright and fair use protection.  Additionally, Trey has represented many clients before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.  Trey received his undergraduate degree in engineering from Vanderbilt University, and he received his J.D. from Samford University.
